European Commissioner Andriukaitis visits EMA in Amsterdam
On Tuesday the 19th of March Vytenis Andriukaitis, European Commissioner for Health and Food safety visited the EMA in her new temporary building in Amsterdam.
Together with Minister for Medical Care Bruno Bruins, mr. Andriukaitis received a tour of the premises that enabled him to see that EMA is up and running again. During his visit the Commissioner spend a lot of time talking to staff members and whilst doing so he thanked them for their important work in keeping medicine safe.
After the Spark Building, the Commissioner visited the construction site where the architect and contractor elaborated on the design and the construction of the new tailor made building for EMA. Mr. Andriukaitis was pleased to see the progress already made and hinted that EMA would have a better deal in Amsterdam than it did in London.
